This is a senior contract role for an experienced airworthiness professional capable of operating autonomously, providing assurance and guidance across regulated aerospace and defence programmes. The successful contractor will act as the go-to airworthiness specialist, supporting engineering activity with clear, pragmatic, and credible guidance.
- Act as the airworthiness authority across relevant engineering programmes
- Provide guidance on certification, compliance, and assurance activities
- Support design, development, and review from an airworthiness perspective
- Interface with engineering and programme stakeholders
- Ensure alignment with applicable airworthiness frameworks and standards
Proven experience as an Airworthiness Engineer within aerospace or defence. Strong understanding of UK military or regulated aviation frameworks. Confident operating as a standalone specialist contractor. SC clearance or eligibility.
