Are you passionate about precision engineering? Do you thrive in a dynamic work environment where innovation meets craftsmanship? Look no further! We're seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to become an integral part of our bustling team in Stewarton.

As a CNC Machinist, you will comply with all Company quality parameters and procedures to guarantee that all products manufactured meet the required standards and specifications. Safety is your top priority, and you will always carry out your work in compliance with the company’s Health and Safety Policy and procedures. You will maintain the highest standard of hygiene and housekeeping in all areas. This includes filling out detailed inspection reports for every component of the machine and setting, programming, and operating machines using various control systems. Additionally, you are responsible for creating and updating setup sheets for new programs while the machine is running, as well as maintaining machine maintenance. You will possess the ability to inspect first offs and work to extremely tight tolerances. Other duties include dressing in the cycle, machining various kinds of metals and plastics, and executing tasks with precision and efficiency.

You will have the opportunity to further your knowledge and skills, learning how to use alternative machines. Further training opportunities are also available.

Hours of Work: Full Time, Permanent, 38 Hours Per week. Contract Hours 7:55am to 16:25pm Monday to Thursday and 7:55am to 13:55pm on a Friday.

CNC Machinist Requirements:

  • Apprenticeship / HNC in Engineering discipline (or equivalent)
  • CNC, turning or milling, experience (minimum 3 years)
  • On-line programming experience
  • Experience in oil and gas industry
  • Sound knowledge of CNC machinery
  • Ability to understand engineering drawings
  • Ability to effectively operate CNC machinery
  • Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Good spoken and written communication skills
  • Adaptable

  • Helpful/approachable
