HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season. This is a highly operational, hands‑on role dedicated to execution excellence. While leadership establishes the high‑level strategy, governance, and frameworks for new formats of the adaptive divisions, you will be directly responsible for the operational implementation, delivering educational programmes to regional teams, and conducting on‑site audits. This is a ground‑floor opportunity for an operationally strong professional to drive delivery excellence and shape the on‑site reality for adaptive athletes globally.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • On‑Site Integration & Delivery: Travel to key international events to oversee the seamless integration of adaptive considerations across all race‑day touchpoints, including Sports, Operations, Timing, Registration, and Race Direction.
  • Compliance & Audits: Conduct comprehensive on‑site audits to verify that venues, course setups, and transitions strictly adhere to global adaptive accessibility, safety, and safeguarding standards.
  • Feedback Loop: Identify operational barriers on‑site and provide data‑driven, experiential feedback to leadership to support the continuous refinement of global adaptive racing formats and processes.
  • Classification Framework Rollout: Support the operational rollout of the global classification frameworks designed by leadership.
  • Regional Enablement: Act as the primary technical training resource for Regional Hub Liaisons (Americas, EMEA, APAC/ANZ) to build a unified operational standard.
  • Workshops & Training: Deliver training and operational workshops for local Race Directors, volunteers, and timing crews.
  • Community Education: Assist in educating the broader HYROX community on adaptive Sport language, rules, and our inclusion ethos.

Your Profile

  • Experience: Hands‑on event operations experience or involvement with inclusive mass‑participation events. Practical experience implementing sports classification systems or working alongside classification panels is highly valued.
  • Para Sports Domain Knowledge: Experience working with adaptive athletes and familiarity with medical frameworks, allied health, sports science, or medical language. An athlete perspective or lived experience within the adaptive sports ecosystem is a strong plus.
  • Auditing & Systems: Practical experience conducting venue, safety, or regulatory audits within a sporting or event context.
  • Communication Skills: Confident communicator capable of training diverse teams, from corporate regional managers to race‑day volunteers.
  • Flexibility: High flexibility and readiness for extensive international weekend travel across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC regions.
