We focus on Fitness Traveling: camps, cruises, and race packages and building a comprehensive infrastructure around our events. We want our community to live the HYROX lifestyle on vacation, collect unique shared experiences, and train together. HYROX is no longer just a race; it is a global ecosystem. While our athletes conquer the arena, you build the physical and digital world around them. We are not looking for a "Travel Coordinator." We are looking for a Strategic Architect to bridge the gap between professional tourism, travel-tech, and sports lifestyle. You will be responsible for building a new business unit from the ground up, managing global partnerships, and scaling our travel infrastructure to match our extensive global growth. As our Head of Travel Infrastructure & Business Development (d/w/m), you are the commercial and operational brain behind every journey taken in the HYROX name.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Haus of HYROX: Conceptualize, implement, and operate partner hotel models ("Haus of HYROX") for selected races globally.
  • Race Packages: Develop "Race Travel Destination Packages" (e.g., World Championships: Ticket + Flight + Transfer + Hotel) to offer seamless experiences for our athletes.
  • Staff Travel: Professionalize and manage the global Staff Travel Program, ensuring cost-efficiency and comfort for our traveling colleagues.
  • Marketplace & Technology
  • Booking Engine: Lead the development and operation of a central marketplace/booking system where athletes can purchase race bundles and fitness travel packages.
  • Customer Journey: Manage travel-specific touchpoints such as pre-check-ins, transfers, and logistics to ensure a friction-free experience.
  • Partnerships & Sourcing
    • Deal Making: Manage business relationships with hotels, airlines, cruise lines, and resorts. Focus on research, contract structuring, and negotiation.
    • Sponsorship Alignment: Collaborate closely with Sales to link travel activities with sponsorship agreements (e.g., airline partners, hotel chains).
  • Experience & Operations
    • Cruises & Camps: Develop entertainment and exploration concepts for HYROX Cruises and Camps (in coordination with the Lead Sports Travel Experience who handles the sports program).
    • Cross-Functional Synergies: Work intensively with Marketing, Operations, Legal, and Ticketing to drive repeat purchases and ensure legal compliance in tourism.

    YOUR PROFILE

    • Background: Completed education/degree in Tourism, Travel, or related fields.
    • Experience: Long-standing management experience in the travel industry (Hotels, Travel Agencies, or Themed Travel).
    • Network: You bring a broad network within the travel industry and extensive experience in partner management and tourism law.
    • Skills: Strong interdisciplinary leadership, organizational skills, and a "hands-on" mentality. You understand how to build a business unit.
    • Mindset: Entrepreneurial thinking with a customer-first mindset. You have a passion for fitness and sports.
    • Language: English on C-level is mandatory.
    • Travel: Willingness for frequent travel to set up and supervise partnerships and events.
