Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season. As we scale globally, our relationship with host cities and venues is shifting from tactical booking to long-term strategic partnerships. As our Head of Commercial Venue Negotiation (d/w/m), you are the primary architect of our global venue strategy. You will move the needle from simple rental agreements to complex, value-driven partnerships that include city funding and economic impact. You are the "Closer" for our European market and the strategic backbone for our General Managers worldwide, ensuring we secure the best venues, unlock government subsidies, and protect our market lead through unified global standards.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Negotiator (Europe): Take full ownership of high-stakes negotiations and contract closures for major venues across Europe. You are on the front line ensuring we get the best terms.
  • 4-Pillar Strategy: Implement our strategic procurement framework by simultaneously securing Venue Hire, Branding Rights, F&B revenue shares, and City Funding.
  • Global Strategy & Support: Act as the senior strategic partner for General Managers in North America, APAC, and other markets. You provide the benchmarks, tactics, and "playbooks" they need to win locally.
  • Task Force Lead: Lead the Global Venue Task Force, setting the agenda and ensuring a "One Voice" approach towards international venue groups (e.g., ASM, GL Events).
  • Benchmarking: Maintain the global "Bottom-Line" database to compare costs and ROI across continents, challenging price inconsistencies aggressively.
  • City Funding & Partnerships: Lead efforts to secure government subsidies and sports grants by positioning HYROX as a significant economic driver for host cities.
  • Brand Protection: Define and enforce standardized exclusivity clauses for "Fitness Racing" to legally protect our venues from competitors globally.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experience: Extensive senior-level experience in Strategic Procurement, Venue Management, or Event Sales. You have a proven track record of closing multi-million dollar deals in the European sports or event landscape.
  • The "Closer" Mentality: You are a master negotiator who navigates complex legal and commercial structures to maximize leverage.
  • Strategic & Analytical: You can use economic impact data to influence private operators and public government officials alike.
  • Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional groups and advising decentralized teams (e.g., Country Managers) without micromanaging.
  • Communication: You speak English on C-Level, German is a big plus and are direct, high-energy, and results-oriented.
  • Passion: You identify with the HYROX DNA and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
