As our Direct Communications Manager (m/f/d), you are the voice of HYROX across our most personal channels. You don't just send messages; you build relationships. By crafting compelling copy and managing our global direct-to-consumer platforms, you ensure our community stays informed, inspired, and engaged. This is an ideal role for a creative communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within the world of digital sports marketing and community engagement.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategic Content & Copywriting: Lead the creation and strategic direction of high-quality content for CRM and newsletters. You are the guardian of HYROX's voice, ensuring that every piece of copy, from social posts to deep-funnel emails, converts and resonates.
  • Direct Messaging Ownership: End-to-end management of direct communication ecosystems. You design, implement, and scale high-impact WhatsApp strategies and Instagram broadcast initiatives to drive community engagement.
  • Campaign Leadership: Drive the ideation and development of creative campaign concepts. You don't just assist; you lead the brainstorming process for catchy taglines and overarching communication themes that align with global marketing goals.
  • Brand Stewardship: Ensure absolute brand consistency across all direct-to-consumer touchpoints. You act as the final quality gate to maintain the unique identity of HYROX in every message.
  • Performance & Conversion Optimization: Take full accountability for campaign results. You conduct deep-dive analyses of engagement and conversion metrics, implement rigorous A/B testing, and pivot strategies based on data to maximize ROI.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration: Act as the central interface between the Content, Social Media, and Performance teams. You align messaging across departments to ensure a seamless and unified 360° customer journey.
  • Lifecycle & Calendar Management: Oversee the global content calendar. You manage the strategic scheduling of all broadcasts and newsletters, ensuring an optimal cadence that balances user value with business objectives.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. (Alternatively: Significant track record in professional digital communications).
  • Experience: Several years of proven experience in managing digital communication channels, with a strong focus on CRM, email marketing, or social media strategy.
  • Creative Excellence: Deep copywriting skills. You don't just adapt the tone of voice; you define and guard it across all direct-to-consumer channels (e.g., WhatsApp, Newsletters, Push Notifications).
  • Tech Mastery: Hands-on expertise with Marketing Automation tools (e.g., Braze, Klaviyo, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud), Meta Business Suite, and WhatsApp for Business API. You understand the technical backend of campaigns.
  • Data-Driven: Advanced analytical skills. You don't just track metrics; you derive actionable insights, run A/B tests independently, and optimize the communication funnel based on KPIs and ROI.
  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional storytelling ability with a strategic mindset. You can navigate complex global stakeholder environments and align local execution with global brand goals.
  • Languages: English (A* - A minimum at GCSE); additional languages are a plus.
