We are seeking a driven and technically capable Electrical Technical Sales Engineer to support the growth of our energy management and power monitoring solutions across the UK market. This role is ideal for someone with a strong electrical engineering background who is passionate about helping businesses better understand their energy consumption, improve operational efficiency, and enhance power quality performance through granular monitoring and data-driven insights. Responsibilities
- Develop a strong technical understanding of energy monitoring, power quality, and energy efficiency solutions.
- Promote and specify products and systems to end users, consultants, and contractors.
- Support the preparation of technical quotations and tender submissions.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive sustainable sales growth across target sectors.
- Conduct customer audits to identify opportunities for improved energy visibility, cost reduction, and operational efficiency.
- Demonstrate the financial and operational benefits of granular energy monitoring and continuous energy assessment.
- Achieve agreed sales targets and contribute to overall business objectives.
- Support forecasting activities, pipeline management, and monthly reporting processes.
- Monitor market activity, competitor developments, and emerging industry trends.
- Contribute to product launch activities, pricing strategies, and promotional initiatives.
- Assist with the development of local sales and marketing campaigns tailored to the UK market.
- Deliver presentations, CPD sessions, and technical demonstrations to consultants and customers.
- Represent the business at trade shows, industry events, and partner activities.
- Collect and communicate customer feedback to support continuous product and service improvement.

The Candidate
- A background in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience in technical sales, energy management, power monitoring, or power quality solutions.
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and energy efficiency applications.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to identify and develop sales opportunities.
- Confidence presenting technical solutions to a wide range of stakeholders.
