The Quantity Surveyor will play a pivotal role in the commercial management of a major construction or infrastructure project, supporting the delivery of key financial, contractual, and commercial objectives. Working as part of an integrated project team, the role will provide commercial support throughout the project lifecycle, helping to maximise value, manage risk, and protect the company's commercial interests. Responsibilities
- Support the commercial management of a project or designated work package, ensuring commercial objectives are achieved in line with business and project requirements.
- Prepare and assist with applications for payment, valuations, cost reports, forecasts, cash flow projections, and final accounts.
- Monitor project costs, commitments, and financial performance, identifying risks, opportunities, and potential commercial impacts.
- Administer subcontract and supplier accounts from procurement through to final account agreement, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and company procedures.
- Assess subcontractor applications, variations, and claims.
