We are seeking an experienced Generator Technician / Field Service Engineer to join an established power generation business based in the Glasgow area.
The role will involve a combination of depot-based generator maintenance and field service, working on a range of diesel generators and associated power generation equipment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding and repairing generators to ensure equipment is reliable, safe and ready for operation.
We are also keen to speak with candidates from an Armed Forces background, particularly those with experience working with generators, diesel engines, electrical systems, plant or mechanical equipment.
Relevant military engineering experience will be considered alongside traditional civilian generator or plant experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer looking to develop their career within the power generation industry, with the variety of working both from a depot environment and out in the field.
