The Environmental Advisor will provide operational environmental support across multiple construction and infrastructure project sites throughout the Highlands region of Scotland. Working closely with project delivery teams, subcontractors, specialists, and stakeholders, the role will help ensure environmental compliance, support sustainable construction practices, and contribute to the successful delivery of project environmental objectives. The position will involve a hands-on presence across active sites, supporting environmental management activities, regulatory requirements, monitoring programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives within dynamic construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver day-to-day environmental support across multiple live construction sites, ensuring compliance with project requirements, environmental legislation, and company standards.
- Work collaboratively with project teams, subcontractors, designers, waste contractors, and environmental specialists to integrate environmental considerations into construction activities.
- Assist in the preparation, implementation, and close-out of environmental management plans, method statements, and site-specific documentation.
- Support the discharge of planning conditions, permit requirements, and environmental consents associated with project activities.
- Promote environmental awareness across site teams and stakeholders.
