Your new company
You'll be joining an ambitious, entrepreneurial accountancy firm with a collaborative approach and a growing Transactions & Advisory offering. Working predominantly with owner-managed and SME businesses, the team provides hands-on advice to business owners, shareholders, and management teams at key points in their growth journey.
Your new role
As Tax Due Diligence Senior Manager, you'll take the day-to-day lead on buy-side and sell-side due diligence assignments, supporting clients through acquisitions, business sales, MBOs, succession planning and refinancing.
You'll identify key tax risks across corporation tax, employment taxes, shareholder matters and historic liabilities, translating complex issues into clear, commercially focused advice. Alongside leading multiple transactions, you'll manage and develop junior team members, work closely with Corporate Finance teams and external advisers, and help identify opportunities to grow the wider tax and advisory offering.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll bring strong experience in tax due diligence, transaction tax, or corporate tax advisory, ideally with significant exposure to owner-managed or SME clients. A solid understanding of UK corporation tax is essential, along with the confidence to communicate directly with business owners and focus quickly on the key commercial issues.
Previous team and project management experience is important. ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualifications would be advantageous, although strong relevant experience and capability will also be considered.
What you'll get in return
This is an opportunity to take on a visible and influential role within a growing team, with plenty of autonomy and direct client interaction. You'll gain broad transaction and advisory exposure across a varied SME client base, work in a less siloed environment, and benefit from a collaborative culture and hybrid working approach.
