An award-winning organisation in the managed service provider space is looking for a Security Operations Center Analyst. You will be primarily responsible for monitoring systems, performing initial triage on security alerts, and categorising potential threats to ensure rapid response and mitigation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide first line of defence and triage for cyber security incidents within the managed security service.
- Take ownership of remedial actions to mitigate threats following established playbooks or escalates to senior management.
- Manage technical and stakeholder incident reporting through concise and professional communications.
- Liaise with third‑party service suppliers and act as the central point of contact during active incidents.
- Provide operational support to the wider security team and manage customer expectations throughout the ticket lifecycle.
What We’re Looking For
- Legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom with at least one year of experience in a Tier 1 SOC role.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Sentinel SIEM technologies.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 Cloud technologies from a threat‑landscape perspective.
- Relevant certifications such as SC‑200 (Security Operations Analyst) or SC‑900 (Security Compliance and Identity).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work under pressure and a willingness to work flexible shifts.
