If you're a recruiter who wants more jobs to work, quicker deal cycles, and the opportunity to earn commission without spending months building a desk, this is a great opportunity to move into technology contract recruitment. You’ll join an established specialist recruitment firm with a dedicated contract division supplying technical professionals to businesses across international markets.
The team works with major consultancies, technology vendors, and end-user organisations delivering large-scale technology projects - creating consistent demand for specialist contractors who can start quickly and make an immediate impact.
The Market
Contract technology recruitment moves quickly. When businesses are undertaking a major cloud migration, responding to a cybersecurity challenge, implementing new infrastructure, or delivering a transformation programme, they often can’t wait months to hire. They need experienced specialists - quickly.
You’ll recruit contractors across areas including:
- Cloud Infrastructure
- Cybersecurity
- Enterprise IT
- Digital Transformation
- Technology Consulting
The team manages several large strategic accounts with requirements across multiple regions and technical disciplines, creating strong job flow and plenty of opportunities to make placements. For a recruiter who enjoys the pace and buzz of recruitment, it's an exciting market to work in.
The Opportunity
You’ll initially focus heavily on candidate generation and delivery, working live contract requirements and building relationships with specialist technology professionals. Contract recruitment experience is not required. If you've recruited permanent technology professionals before, the skills are highly transferable - you'll be moving into a faster-paced environment where turnaround times are shorter and successful placements can quickly build into a contractor book generating recurring revenue. Long term, the role can develop around your strengths.
