Recruitment Consultant – Legal, Compliance & Financial Services
My client is a high-performing privately owned recruitment business specialising in Legal, Compliance and Financial Services appointments across both In-House and Private Practice. They’re known for their deep market expertise, genuine warmth, and impressive network of blue-chip clients — from top investment banks and fintechs to leading law firms.
Now moving into stunning new offices near London Bridge, this established team (13 consultants in London, 7 in South Africa) is growing across three verticals:
Compliance, In-House Legal, and Private Practice Legal.

The Role
You’ll join an established high-billing environment where the expectations are clear and the support is real. Whether your background is within Legal, Compliance, FS Risk, or a neighbouring market, this business offers the structure, tools and culture to help you excel.
- Build and expand your own vertical within Legal, Compliance or Financial Services.
- Leverage a strong client base including top-tier financial institutions and leading law firms.
- Collaborate with some of the best recruiters in the market, including a former Taylor Root Partner and a Legal Search specialist team.
- Enjoy autonomy, transparency, and a supportive leadership style.
The Person
- 1–3+ years’ experience in a professional recruitment market.
- Proven billing track record and a performance-minded approach.
- Intelligent, credible and warm — you’ll fit a collaborative, adult culture.
- Legal or FS recruitment experience ideal, but strong recruiters from Audit, Risk, Technology or other specialist areas will also be considered.
