This firm specialises in high‑growth, mission‑critical technology markets where data and AI are driving next‑generation products, systems and capabilities — from machine learning and predictive analytics to data infrastructure and engineering excellence. In today’s tech environment, organisations are transforming how they operate by embedding data and intelligence into their DNA, creating huge demand for specialist talent and recruiters who understand both the technology and the people powering it.
You’ll support a desk that has already generated £280k in revenue over the last 6 months, working closely with senior consultants on live technical search mandates. This role suits someone with strong research capabilities, commercial awareness and ambition to grow into a full 360 recruiter over time.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Conducting detailed talent research and mapping across AI, data engineering and adjacent technical markets
- Identifying, qualifying and engaging high‑calibre technical candidates (software, data, ML/AI engineers, analytics leadership etc.)
- Supporting delivery on live search assignments with senior consultants
- Building deep market knowledge and insight into evolving tech landscapes
- Contributing to candidate pipeline strategy, messaging and outreach
- Growing your responsibility and autonomy as you develop into a recruitment consultant
Who We’re Looking For
- A commercially minded researcher with strong communication skills
- Experience in recruitment research or related technical/sales support (any market considered)
- Understanding or interest in AI, machine learning, data engineering, software or related tech markets
- Organised, tenacious, curious and eager to learn
- Able to operate with autonomy in a hybrid working environment
