This is a strong opportunity for someone currently recruiting in general technology, software engineering, cloud, data, infrastructure, SaaS, consulting or broader tech markets who wants to move up the value chain.

A newly promoted Team Leader in the London office started her career as a Graduate in 2024 and earned £124,000 last year. She now focuses on Front-Office Technology recruitment for leading financial institutions and is a clear example of what is possible in this market with the right platform, clients and work ethic.

The market

This team recruits the technologists who sit closest to trading, investment and revenue generation.

These are not general IT or back-office technology roles. They are high-value, front-office positions where technology directly impacts trading performance, investment strategy, pricing, risk, execution and profitability.

The fees are naturally higher because the roles are more specialist, the candidate pool is tighter, and the impact of a good hire can be significant.
