About the Role
You’ll work alongside the business’s top-performing consultant to support high-quality mandates across global engineering and tech sectors. This could be a '180' role to begin with - focused on candidate delivery - with a view to developing into a full 360 consultant over time, or an immediate 360 position. The markets are deeply technical, but very engaging for curious, commercially-minded people. You’ll place elite-level engineers and researchers across:
- Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (e.g. LLMs, computer vision, data science, NLP)
- Software & Embedded Systems
- Cloud Infrastructure, Robotics, R&D, Automotive and Aerospace Tech
Typical roles are high-complexity, global in reach, and very well paid - giving you exposure to niche candidate pools, advanced hiring strategy and high deal values.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Sourcing world-class technical candidates for deep-tech roles across the UK, Europe and USA
- Screening and qualifying candidates, understanding technical requirements and career goals
- Managing interview and placement processes in partnership with experienced consultants
- Building niche knowledge of verticals like AI, machine learning, embedded systems, or automotive tech
- Developing toward, or dropping immediately into a 360 role (if desired), with client ownership and business development
Who They’re Looking For
- Recruitment/sales experience OR an outstanding graduate with 2:1+ from a top university
- Clear communicator with high attention to detail
- Curious, resilient, and highly organised
- Interest in deep tech and advanced engineering markets
- Commercial drive – this is a performance-led, delivery-focused environment
