Key Responsibilities
- Field Sales First – This isn’t a desk job! You’ll meet customers, grow accounts, and maintain a high level of sales activity to drive revenue in your local coverage area.
- Own Your Territory: Travel across your territory, build relationships, spot sales opportunities and customer buy-signals to help installers sell more Hypervolt chargers.
- Drive Sell-In & Sell-Through – Work with the team to keep distributors and wholesalers stocked while engaging installers to ensure events are packed and products fly off the shelves.
- Leverage Your Network – Use your existing electrical trade contacts to open doors and close deals fast. Identify new branches, locations and outlets, bring them on board, and lock in purchase orders.
- Forecast Like a Pro – Use sales tools to provide accurate sales forecasts and insider knowledge on market trends, regulations, and competitors.
- Keep Partners Thriving – Help our customers be as successful as they possibly can be by improving training, installations, and operational efficiency.
- Know the Market: Stay ahead of trends in the EV home charging space to help shape our sales approach.
- Bring the Market to Us: Gather customer needs insights and share feedback with our product and technical teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK B2B sales or business development, preferably selling to electrical wholesalers and their customers.
- Basic understanding of the home EV charging sector or EV-related industries like solar, energy storage or automotive either in a sales or technical capacity.
- Proven track record of exceeding quota & managing 20-50 customer accounts.
- Strong knowledge of distribution sales dynamics (sell-in/sell-through).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities dynamically.
- Demonstrated accountability to commercial targets, operational standards and company culture.
- Experience working with CRM tools like HubSpot, productivity and collaboration tools like Google Workspace, Monday.com, Canva.
- Fluency in English.
