- Translate company and product strategy into clear engineering roadmaps and execution plans.
- Own delivery, quality, reliability, and operational excellence across cloud and application platforms.
- Establish strong technical ownership, delivery cadence, and engineering standards.
- Provide technical leadership across Hypervolt’s AWS-based microservices architecture.
- Own the evolution and reliability of UltraGrid, Hypervolt’s cloud operating system for connected assets.
- Ensure low-latency, bi-directional control and automation of devices at scale.
- Drive platform scalability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
- Oversee large-scale telemetry ingestion via highly available MQTT brokers handling 6+ billion messages per day.
- Guide streaming pipelines using Apache Pulsar and data storage across DynamoDB and Google BigQuery.
- Enable high-fidelity time-series analytics, machine learning, and forecasting at scale.
- Ensure robust handling of offline data replay and reconciliation.
- Work closely with hardware and firmware engineering teams to define clear cloud–device interfaces and contracts.
- Enable new device capabilities through cloud services and control systems.
- Support OTA workflows, diagnostics, and remote configuration.

- Partner to reduce field failures and warranty costs through remote diagnostics and automation (Watson).
- Oversee backend systems supporting the Hypervolt mobile app and Ultra Mode.
- Ensure real-time changes and device controls sync seamlessly with customer-facing applications.
- Support operational tooling and customer support workflows through Watson.
- Own cloud platform reliability, uptime, observability, and incident response.
- Drive best practices in testing, monitoring, and resilience.
- Balance rapid product delivery with long-term platform health and technical debt management.
- Build, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering leaders and teams.
- Foster a culture of ownership, pragmatism, and customer focus.
- Act as a senior technical leader and trusted partner across the business.
