About the Role
Hypervolt is seeking an expert Performance Marketing Manager to accelerate our paid acquisition engine and scale profitable growth for our premium EV Charging products. You will lead strategy and execution across Google and Meta, build the analytical foundation for investment decisions, and collaborate across the business to unlock new customer demand. This role requires someone autonomous, commercially-minded, and deeply data-driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end management of Google Ads (Search, Shopping, Performance Max, YouTube) and Meta Advertising, prioritising high ROAS growth.
- Confidently manage and scale large budgets, ensuring investments align with company ROI expectations.
- Develop and execute structured test plans across creative, audiences, bids, formats, funnels, and messaging.
- Build clear, evidence-based business cases for budget increases—grounded in performance data, scalability analysis, marginal ROAS, and forecast modelling.
- Present clear recommendations to leadership on when/how to scale spend to hit commercial goals without compromising efficiency.
- Monitor unit economics by campaign, product, and funnel stage to ensure profitable growth.
- Conduct advanced analysis using Ads Manager/Google Ads console, Google Analytics, and Excel (lookups, pivots, forecasting models).
- Assess performance at granular levels: keywords, queries, audiences, placements, product-level ROAS, landing pages, hooks, and creative formats.
- Use insights to refine strategy, optimise bidding, shape creative briefs, and improve customer acquisition efficiency.
- Work closely with Product Marketing, Design, and content teams to develop performance-oriented creative concepts (hooks, messaging, formats).
- Identify the content, assets, and landing pages required to improve conversion and scale budget efficiently.
- Coordinate with commercial and product teams to align campaigns with pricing, promotions, and new product launches.
- Leverage experience with e-commerce funnels for high-value considered purchases (£1k–£2k ASP).
- Build and optimise product feeds, landing pages, customer journeys, and attribution paths.
- Understand the EV consumer decision cycle and tailor performance strategies to shorten and convert the journey.
- Provide proactive insights and recommendations to leadership, grounded in robust performance analysis.
- Operate with high autonomy—setting strategy, managing day-to-day execution, and independently prioritising work.
- Communicate clearly, bringing data, context, and solutions to cross-functional discussions.
What We're Looking For
- Expert-level capability in Google Ads performance marketing.
- Strong experience with Meta performance advertising, including creative iteration and audience optimisation.
- Highly analytical, fluent across Ads platforms, Google Analytics, and Excel-based analysis.
- Experience running and scaling large e-commerce budgets for premium-priced products.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience building business cases for budget allocation.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication skills, and ability to influence non-marketing teams.
- Comfortable working autonomously with full ownership of performance outcomes.
