RESPONSIBILITIES
- This position is for Office of Admissions and Financial Assistance (OAFA).
- Support Admissions Operations and Processes During Peak Season:
- Provide administrative support for application processing and data verification.
- Assist in coordinating selection-related activities and scheduling.
- Support communications with applicants regarding application status and related matters.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding submissions and required documentation.
- Assist in managing applicant requests and administrative updates in internal systems.
- Maintain accurate and timely records within relevant platforms.
- Respond to applicant queries promptly and professionally.
- Provide operational support for admissions-related events for offerees.
- Support Admissions Operations for MOE-Funded H3 Programmes and Other Special Programmes:
- Coordinate with educational institutions on student nominations.
- Support students in completing and submitting applications.
- Compile applications for review.
- Manage student enrolment and matriculation processes.
- Administer International Outreach events:
- Coordinate with partners and educational institutions on programme planning and delivery.
- Support the marketing and outreach of events to targeted high schools.
- Recruit and manage student or alumni participants for events.
- Liaise with school staff, counsellors, international participants, and their guardians.
- Oversee event logistics and operations, including venue sourcing, catering arrangements, and on-site event execution.
- Travelling may be required to support the overseas events.
- Support Admissions Outreach and Signature Events:
- Provide event planning and logistical support for major undergraduate admissions activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A university degree in any qualification.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Good communication skills and enjoy talking to people.
- Meticulous, with strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task across different projects.
- Highly proficient with Office tools such as Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
- Highly proficient with technology tools such as Zoom, and willing to learn new systems.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to respond to different types of personalities across different age groups.
- Ability to work on some weekends when needed.

Candidates who do not possess the stipulated qualifications but have relevant work experience may still apply. Remuneration and appointment terms shall commensurate with qualifications and experience. SMU reserves the right to modify the appointment terms where necessary.
