Responsibilities
- The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on LLM alignment in solving optimization problems.
- Developing LLM alignment algorithm for solving optimization problems.
- Implementing LLM baseline methods and traditional optimization methods.
- Collecting real-world dataset and testing the above algorithms for benchmarking.
- Writing paper for publication.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning; with particular focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in prompting or fine-tuning LLM.
- Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python is required.
- Proven track record and professional experience in LLM related project.
- Demonstrated experience and know-how on prompting or fine-tuning LLMs.
- Excellent working knowledge of LLM alignment and optimization.
- Technical skills in using LLM APIs.
- Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
- Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
- Applicants with research publications in AI area will be advantageous.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
