Responsibilities

  • The candidate will be responsible for conducting research on LLM alignment in solving optimization problems.
  • Developing LLM alignment algorithm for solving optimization problems.
  • Implementing LLM baseline methods and traditional optimization methods.
  • Collecting real-world dataset and testing the above algorithms for benchmarking.
  • Writing paper for publication.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higher learning; with particular focus on Artificial Intelligence.
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant research experience in prompting or fine-tuning LLM.
  • Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python is required.
  • Proven track record and professional experience in LLM related project.
  • Demonstrated experience and know-how on prompting or fine-tuning LLMs.
  • Excellent working knowledge of LLM alignment and optimization.
  • Technical skills in using LLM APIs.
  • Ability to break down complex problems and design effective solutions.
  • Innovating new approaches and thinking outside the box.
  • Applicants with research publications in AI area will be advantageous.
  • Ability to work cooperatively as part of a small, agile academic research team is essential.
  • Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively with team members.
