What You Will Do

  • You will play a key role in generating new business opportunities and shaping first impressions with prospective customers.
  • As part of the Business Development team, you’ll operate at the front of the sales organisation, proactively engaging target accounts, qualifying and progressing inbound interest, and building a strong foundation for pipeline growth.
  • This role is suited to someone who is naturally curious, motivated to learn, and keen to develop their understanding of enterprise sales.
  • You’ll be expected to take a thoughtful, structured approach to outreach, focusing on relevance, timing, and quality of engagement rather than volume alone.
  • Engage prospective customers across outbound and inbound channels, building early stage relationships and identifying where there is a clear fit.
  • Develop a solid understanding of Forescout’s approach and how this applies across different environments.
  • Take ownership of your own development, actively seeking feedback, refining your approach, and building confidence in customer conversations.
  • Apply a consistent, well structured BDR process to manage activity, follow ups, and qualification.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure smooth handover of opportunities and alignment on target accounts.
  • Contribute to team initiatives, share insight, and support a collaborative, high performing culture.
