Hammersmith, London (hybrid; 3 days in office). Reporting into the Head of Contract Management, this senior commercial role is responsible for managing Hyperoptic’s strategic supplier relationships, focusing on Openreach and regulated network products including EAD, PIA and FTTP. Within the contract management function, the role leads the commercial management of key agreements across their lifecycle, ensuring value is delivered, risks are controlled, and contracts remain aligned to business requirements.
The position sits at the intersection of commercial, network, product and finance, providing subject‑matter expertise and driving strong contract‑management disciplines across supplier performance, financial control and governance. The incumbent delivers measurable commercial outcomes, supports strategic initiatives and manages a small team.
Responsibilities- Lead the day‑to‑day commercial relationship with Openreach across relevant products
- Act as the primary commercial interface into Openreach, supporting senior stakeholders where required
- Implement supplier strategies aligned to build plans and product direction
- Support the development of how Openreach is leveraged to enable business growth
- Manage the lifecycle of Openreach and key network supplier contracts
- Drive best practice contract management
- Lead renegotiations, renewals and commercial interventions within delegated authority levels
- Provide subject‑matter expertise on supplier commercial and contract matters
- Build strong working relationships across commercial, network, finance and legal teams
- Early identification and mitigation of commercial and regulatory risks
- A degree in a business, IT or science discipline – ideally a contract‑management qualification such as IACCM
- Previously held a similar commercial role with a track record of delivery
