About the role and the Team
We are looking for a proactive and organised Field Network Asset & Programme Specialist to support the management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our field network infrastructure.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and long-term sustainability of critical telecommunications assets.
Working closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project delivery teams, you will support asset lifecycle activities, maintenance programmes, performance reporting, and field-based initiatives that improve network availability and customer experience.

- Maintenance Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Assist in the delivery of proactive maintenance programmes to reduce faults and repeat incidents.
- Review maintenance and performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Support the implementation of maintenance best practices and process improvements.
- Contribute to asset lifecycle and obsolescence management activities.
- Help identify ageing or underperforming equipment requiring upgrade or replacement.
- Support planning and coordination of asset renewal initiatives.
- Field Programme Delivery
- Assist in the delivery of field programmes and maintenance projects, ensuring activities are completed in line with agreed plans.
- Support programme tracking, scheduling, reporting, and coordination.
- Monitor progress and highlight potential delays or issues.
- Risk & Performance Monitoring
- Help identify operational risks and support mitigation activities.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and contribute to regular performance reporting.
- Support investigations into recurring issues and service impacts.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, maintenance, and project delivery teams.
- Provide timely updates on programme progress, risks, issues, and achievements.
- Support effective communication between internal and external stakeholders.
What we are looking for?
- Experience within field maintenance, telecommunications, utilities, infrastructure, or a related operational environment.
- Understanding of maintenance planning and asset lifecycle management principles.
- Exposure to project delivery, programme coordination, or operational support activities.
- Ability to analyse data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Strong communication, organisational, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and reporting tools.
