About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical project management, product development, and a deep understanding of software engineering principles. The Technical Product Owner will be responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, managing product backlogs, and ensuring the successful delivery of high‑quality software products.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand product priorities and requirements.

- Ensure that our engineering teams have a clear understanding of requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Create and maintain product backlogs, ensuring they are groomed and prioritised effectively.
- Drive the agile development process, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand‑ups.
- Monitor sprint progress and remove obstacles to ensure timely delivery.
- Work with business stakeholders and the development team, providing estimates, guidance and clarification as needed.
- Conduct regular reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to inform product strategy and roadmap.
Qualification
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in a software development environment.
- Proven working experience in the Fintech industry is essential.
- Solid technical background with proficiency in software development concepts and practices.
- Significant experience in managing the delivery of mobile apps, and enterprise grade server platforms.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and experience with agile tools such as Jira or Trello.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross‑functional teams.
- Attention to detail, resourcefulness and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
- Certification in Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent is a plus.
