Who are we?

Howden is a global insurance group with employee ownership at its heart. Together, we have pushed the boundaries of insurance. We are united by a shared passion and no-limits mindset, and our strength lies in our ability to collaborate as a powerful international team comprised of 24,000 employees spanning over 56 countries.

People join Howden for many different reasons, but they stay for the same one: our culture. It's what sets us apart, and the reason our employees have been turning down headhunters for years. Whatever your priorities - work / life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering - you'll find like-minded people driving change at Howden.

The Role

At Howden, we're on an exciting journey to accelerate growth across our largest and most strategically important clients globally. At the centre of this sits the Multinational Clients Practice (MCP), a globally connected team that helps multinational organisations navigate complex risk challenges and access the full breadth of Howden's expertise and network.

MCP plays a critical role in connecting clients to specialist capabilities, coordinating global relationships and creating growth opportunities across products, geographies and industries. To support its next phase of growth, MCP is executing an ambitious strategy focused on client engagement, cross-practice collaboration, operational excellence and sustainable revenue growth.

As Growth Execution Manager (GEM) for MCP, you will help turn strategy into action. Working across MCP's growth agenda, you will lead and support initiatives that improve commercial performance, strengthen collaboration and enhance the client experience. This will include projects spanning growth planning, business performance, cross-selling, network engagement and operating model enhancement.

Working closely with colleagues across the Howden One Network and wider business, you will help bring together expertise from different regions and practices to unlock opportunities for clients and Howden. Reporting to the Head of Growth Execution, MCP, you will be embedded within the MCP team and form part of a wider GEM community across Howden. If you are a proactive, results-oriented individual who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges and driving meaningful change, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

Growth Execution Focus

  • Partner with the Head of Growth Execution and MCP leadership to shape and deliver MCP's growth plan, aligning initiatives to strategic priorities with clear objectives and metrics.
  • Drive execution of strategic initiatives across the MCP business plan, maintaining momentum and accountability to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
  • Lead and support projects spanning client development, cross-selling, Howden One Network engagement, business performance and operating model enhancement.
  • Build strong relationships across MCP, Specialty, Commercial, International and the Howden One Network to identify opportunities and remove barriers to growth.
  • Establish governance, tracking and reporting to monitor progress and provide actionable insights to leadership.
  • Share best practice across MCP and the wider business to improve collaboration and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with the Growth Execution Manager community to align priorities and accelerate growth delivery across Howden.

Project Management and Delivery

  • Lead and support the delivery of MCP growth initiatives from planning through to implementation, coordinating stakeholders across MCP and the wider business to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Establish clear milestones, monitor progress and manage risks and dependencies to maintain momentum and accountability.
  • Prepare updates, insights and recommendations for leadership forums, steering committees and governance meetings.
  • Work closely with Finance, Marketing, Operations, Technology and Data teams to translate business requirements into practical solutions that support MCP's growth objectives.

What we're looking for

  • Experience in the insurance industry (not consulting for insurance, but direct experience of working in insurance)
  • 2-3 years of consulting, strategy, or project management experience; experience managing technology or digital delivery projects is an advantage.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across geographies.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative, and international environment.
  • Experience with data analysis is an advantage.

What do we offer in return?

A career that you define. At Howden, we value diversity - there is no one Howden type. Instead, weโ€™re looking for individuals who share the same values as us:

Our successes have all come from someone brave enough to try something new

We support each other in the small everyday moments and the bigger challenges

We are determined to make a positive d
