Core focus of the role
You will be responsible for coordinating the end-to-end management of damp and mould cases, ensuring works are progressed promptly, residents are kept informed throughout, and all cases are managed in line with internal procedures and regulatory expectations.
Working closely with surveyors, contractors and internal teams, you will ensure inspections, remedial works and follow-up visits are completed efficiently while maintaining accurate records and delivering excellent customer service.

- Day-to-day of the role
- Coordinate and manage damp and mould cases from initial report through to resolution.
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, providing regular updates and managing expectations throughout the process.
- Liaise with surveyors, contractors and internal departments to ensure inspections, remedial works and follow-up visits are completed efficiently.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure works are delivered to the required quality standards.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Track performance against KPIs and service level agreements.
- Escalate complex or high-risk cases where appropriate.
- Support the wider Property Services team with reporting and administrative duties relating to damp and mould management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant housing legislation, health and safety requirements, and organisational policies.
Skills you need
- The Successful Candidate Will Have
- Previous experience coordinating repairs, property services or damp and mould cases within social housing, housing management or property services.
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage a busy workload.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Experience liaising with contractors, surveyors and residents.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
- Good IT skills, including experience using housing management or repairs systems.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and delivering positive outcomes for residents.
