The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering planned investment and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes, managing projects with a combined annual value in excess of £1 million
You will ensure works are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards while providing an excellent service to residents.
- Day-to-day of the role
- Deliver planned investment and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programmes across the housing portfolio.
- Manage capital investment projects with a combined annual value exceeding £1 million.
- Undertake stock condition surveys, property inspections and pre- and post-work inspections.
- Prepare specifications, schedules of work, tender documentation and cost estimates.
- Manage contractors and consultants, monitoring quality, programme delivery, budgets and performance.
- Ensure all works comply with current legislation, health and safety requirements, building regulations and organisational policies.
- Work closely with residents and internal teams to minimise disruption and deliver excellent customer service.
- Monitor project expenditure and contribute to effective budget management.
- Maintain accurate project records and produce progress reports for senior management.
- Support the ongoing development of the organisation’s asset management and investment strategies.

Skills you need
- Experience managing planned investment, capital works or PPM programmes within social housing or residential property.
- Proven experience overseeing projects and budgets in excess of £1 million.
- Strong knowledge of building construction, planned maintenance and contract administration.
- Experience managing contractors using recognised forms of contract and monitoring KPIs.
- Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant surveying qualification (HNC, HND, degree or equivalent) is desirable.
- Full UK driving licence is preferred.
