About the Role:
Hyperion Partners is seeking an experienced Building Manager for a leading Social Housing provider. This temporary role is ideal for a proactive and hands-on professional with a strong background in building management, maintenance coordination, and compliance within a residential setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of residential buildings within the social housing portfolio.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, fire safety, and building maintenance standards.
- Manage planned and reactive maintenance, liaising with contractors and service providers.
- Conduct site inspections and risk assessments to ensure the buildings remain safe and well-maintained.
- Coordinate tenant communications regarding maintenance works and property-related concerns.
- Support the management of service contracts, ensuring value for money and high standards of service delivery.
- Respond to emergency repairs and building-related incidents effectively.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Building Manager, Facilities Manager, or Estate Manager in a residential or social housing environment.
- Strong knowledge of health & safety, compliance, and fire safety regulations.
- Experience in managing repairs, maintenance contracts, and service providers.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant qualifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, IWFM Level 3+ (desirable but not essential).
