Hyperion Partners are proud to be representing our client, a leading operator of high-quality student accommodation, in their search for a skilled and proactive Maintenance Operative to join their friendly team in Exeter.\\n\\nOur client is committed to providing exceptional living spaces for students, ensuring safety, comfort, and a welcoming environment. As Maintenance Operative, you’ll play a vital role in delivering a first-class service, ensuring the property is maintained to the highest standard.\\n\\nKey Responsibilities:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Carry out reactive and planned maintenance works across the property, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and decorating tasks.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Respond promptly to maintenance requests, ensuring all issues are resolved quickly and effectively.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Support with health and safety compliance, conducting regular inspections and keeping accurate records.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Assist with the upkeep of communal areas, plant rooms, and building exteriors.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Work closely with the site team to ensure students have an excellent living experience.\\n\\nAbout You:\\n\\n * \\n\\n Experience in a maintenance or facilities role, ideally within residential, hospitality, or student accommodation settings.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Competent in a variety of maintenance skills, with the ability to work safely and to a high standard.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, “can-do” attitude.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.\\n\\n * \\n\\n Flexibility to respond to occasional out-of-hours call-outs
