What if your experience in property could be the starting point for a completely different career? Hyperion Partners is growing, and we're looking for an Associate Recruitment Consultant to join the business. We're particularly interested in speaking with people who already understand the property world but have never necessarily considered recruitment.
We can teach you recruitment. What we're looking for is personality, ambition, resilience and the ability to build relationships.
What will you actually be doing?
- You'll be trained to become a specialist recruiter within the property sector, building your own network of clients and candidates and eventually taking ownership of your own market.
- You'll learn how to:
- Build relationships with some of the UK's leading property businesses
- Headhunt and engage talented professionals
- Develop new client relationships
- Understand businesses, their people and their hiring challenges
- Manage recruitment processes from first conversation through to placement
- Negotiate offers and fees
- Build your own reputation and network within the property sector
- Become a genuine specialist within your market
This isn't a role where you'll spend your career supporting somebody else's desk. The aim is to give you the tools to eventually build your own.
Why recruitment? Recruitment can be an incredibly rewarding career for the right person. Your progression isn't determined by how long you've been in the business. Your earning potential isn't restricted to your basic salary. And you're building something that becomes increasingly valuable over time - your network, reputation and understanding of your market. It's challenging. There will be targets. You'll hear "no" regularly and you'll need to be comfortable picking yourself back up and going again. But if you're competitive, commercially minded and enjoy working with people, it can give you a level of progression and earning potential that's difficult to find in many traditional property roles.
Why Hyperion? We're a growing specialist recruitment business operating across Social Housing, Residential Property and the wider Living sector. We're building the business with a simple idea: Develop good recruiters. Give them genuine market expertise. Give them responsibility. And create an environment where ambitious people can build careers rather than simply hit targets.
You’ll work directly alongside experienced recruiters and learn recruitment properly - from candidate delivery through to business development, client management and eventually running your own desk. As we grow, we want the people joining us now to grow with us. That means genuine opportunities to progress into: Consultant, Senior Consultant, Principal, Management and potentially much further as the business continues to develop.
Who are we looking for?
- Ambitious
- Confident speaking to people
- Naturally good at building relationships
- Curious and willing to learn
- Resilient
- Target driven
- Interested in property
- Motivated by progression and earning potential
The opportunity: We're not looking for someone who just wants another job. We're looking for someone who wants to learn a profession, become known within their market and ultimately build something of their own within Hyperion. If you've been working in property and have ever thought: "I like the industry, but I'm not sure I want to do my current job forever..." This might be worth a conversation. No recruitment experience necessary. Just bring the ambition we'll help with the rest.
