Hyperion Partners is delighted to be supporting a leading operator of institutional-grade residential assets in the search for a driven and commercially minded Leasing Manager for a flagship Build to Rent (BTR) development in London. This is an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious property professional to play a key role in the successful lease-up and stabilisation of a major residential asset, helping shape resident experience from first enquiry through to move-in.

The Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will take ownership of the full leasing journey, driving occupancy, maximising revenue, and delivering an outstanding customer experience. You will be instrumental in converting enquiries into residents, building strong prospect relationships, and ensuring leasing targets are achieved during the crucial launch and growth phase of the development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lease-Up & Performance
  • Drive leasing activity to achieve and exceed occupancy and revenue targets
  • Support the successful stabilisation of the asset during initial lease-up
  • Implement sales strategies to maximise lead conversion
  • Sales & Resident Journey
    • Conduct engaging apartment and amenity tours
    • Showcase the lifestyle benefits and value proposition of the BTR offering
    • Build strong relationships with prospective residents
    • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the leasing process
  • Applications & Compliance
    • Manage enquiries, applications, referencing, and tenancy progression
    • Prepare tenancy agreements in line with UK residential legislation
    • Ensure all leasing activity remains compliant and professionally managed
  • Market & Reporting
    • Monitor competitor activity, pricing trends, and local market conditions
    • Provide market insight to support leasing strategies
    • Maintain accurate records through property management systems
    • Report on pipeline activity, conversions, and leasing performance

    About You

    Essential Experience

    • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in:
    • Residential lettings
    • New homes sales
    • Property leasing
    • Customer-facing sales within property

    Highly Desirable

    • Experience within:
    • Build to Rent
    • Large-scale residential developments
    • Lease-up environments

    Skills & Attributes

    • Proven track record of achieving sales targets
    • Strong negotiation and closing skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation ability
    • Strong understanding of UK lettings legislation
    • Experience using systems such as MRI, Yardi, or similar
    • Highly organised, proactive, and energetic
