Customer Service Advisor (1-Year Temp) – Social Housing Sector Location: Chelmsford Contract: 12-month Temporary Contract Rate: £19.15 Umbrella Recruiter: Hyperion Partners Hyperion Partners are seeking experienced Customer Service Advisors for a 1-year temporary contract within a dynamic and fast-paced contact centre supporting tenants and residents in the public sector. This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing team where your communication and problem-solving skills will make a real impact on people’s lives. Housing experience is desirable, but strong customer service experience is essential. Key Responsibilities: Handle inbound telephone enquiries from residents and service users. Accurately log repairs, complaints, payments, and tenancy-related queries on the CRM system. Liaise with housing officers, contractors, and service teams to ensure effective resolution. Deliver a high level of First Contact Resolution (FCR) and meet internal service targets. Communicate clearly and empathetically, ensuring customer needs are met with professionalism. Requirements: Proven experience in a customer service advisor role – ideally in contact centres or housing/repairs settings. Strong communication, IT, and admin skills. Ability to work to targets in a busy, high-volume environment. Social housing experience is desirable but not essential – full training will be provided.
