Hyperion Partners Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading organisation in the housing and property services sector with the appointment of a Repairs Officer on a 6-month temporary contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused professional to join a busy Property Services team, providing high-quality administrative support and coordinating repairs and maintenance services across a housing portfolio.

The Role

As a Repairs Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring repairs are scheduled and managed efficiently, while providing an excellent service to residents, contractors and internal stakeholders.

You will act as an important first point of contact for repairs-related enquiries and work closely with contractors and colleagues to ensure works are progressed within agreed timescales and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative and customer service support within the Property Services team.
  • Raise works orders for repairs and pest control.
  • Schedule repair works according to priority and workstream.
  • Liaise with contractors daily regarding work in progress and outstanding works.
  • Monitor jeopardy reports and help ensure repairs are completed within agreed service levels.
  • Manage work in progress to improve customer satisfaction and achieve a first-time-right approach.
  • Monitor and respond to CRM cases and calls within agreed timescales.
  • Act as a first point of contact for residents, contractors and external organisations.
  • Maintain accurate records, data and electronic filing systems.
  • Assist with contractor invoice processing.
  • Support the maintenance and updating of stock condition databases.
  • Arrange surveyor inspections and carry out resident satisfaction surveys.
  • Assist with correspondence, telephone enquiries and general administration.
  • Provide administrative or reception cover when required.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver an effective, joined-up service.
  • Support the management and resolution of complaints in a professional and collaborative manner.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties in support of the Property Services function.
