Role Overview
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Junior Digital Designer looking to grow their creative career within a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Working closely with the Digital Graphic Designer and wider creative and marketing teams, you’ll support the creation of engaging, high-quality digital content that drives both brand storytelling and commercial performance. This role is ideal for someone with strong design fundamentals, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for fashion, beauty or lifestyle branding — who is eager to develop their skills within one of the UK’s most exciting D2C brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of digital assets including website banners, product page visuals, email graphics, social media content, and paid media ads
- Support the creation of CRM assets, including daily email sends
- Ensure all designs align with Abbott Lyon's brand identity and style guidelines
- Interpret creative briefs into clear, engaging visual content
- Support campaign rollouts, producing cohesive assets across multiple digital channels
- Apply strong foundational knowledge of layout, typography, and colour to deliver polished, professional visuals
Team Collaboration & Delivery
- Collaborate with marketing, eCommerce, and social teams to understand project requirements and contribute creative solutions
- Take direction from the Design Manager and respond constructively to feedback
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-moving environment
- Contribute to team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and creative reviews
Growth & Development
- Stay up to date with design trends, digital platforms, and creative tools
- Take initiative in learning new design techniques and software
- Engage in feedback loops and development opportunities to build skills and confidence
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in graphic or digital design (internships and freelance work welcome)
- A portfolio demonstrating strong digital design fundamentals
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with After Effects or Figma is a bonus
- Strong attention to detail, composition, and visual balance
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take feedback in a dynamic environment
- Exposure to social media content creation or digital marketing
- An interest in fashion, beauty, or lifestyle branding
