About the Role

As Fulfilment Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of our operation, owning the day-to-day performance and continuous improvement of our fulfilment function. You’ll lead Team Leaders and Shift Leaders across all shifts, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately and on time - even during peak periods. This role blends hands-on leadership, operational excellence, and process improvement, and is critical to keeping the engine of the business running smoothly as volumes continue to scale. This role suits someone who is calm under pressure, highly organised, commercially aware, and comfortable rolling their sleeves up when needed.

What You’ll Own

  • Operational Leadership
  • Own fulfilment performance across all shifts: output, accuracy, efficiency, and safety
  • Lead and support Team Leaders with daily priorities, resourcing, and shift handovers
  • Ensure orders are picked, packed, and dispatched on time and to a high standard
  • Monitor KPIs and act quickly when performance drops or bottlenecks appear
  • Maintain accurate systems and real-time reporting
  • Oversee stock control and escalate discrepancies fast
  • Work closely with Production, Customer Service, and Logistics to keep everything aligned
  • Line-manage Team Leaders and support Shift Leaders across shifts
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and training of fulfilment team members
  • Run regular 1:1s, coaching, and performance feedback
  • Support performance reviews, attendance, and welfare matters
  • Build a high-performing, accountable, and engaged team culture
  • Identify and drive improvements across processes, layouts, systems, and workflows
  • Lead or support efficiency, cost-reduction, and quality-improvement initiatives
  • Use data to spot trends and make clear recommendations
  • Champion health & safety and ensure compliance at all times
  • Act as escalation point for complex operational issues

Planning & Hands-on Support

  • Support scheduling, capacity planning, and forecasting
  • Prepare daily and weekly fulfilment performance reports
  • Step in during peak periods to support picking and packing when required
  • Deputise for the Fulfilment Manager when needed

  • Strong understanding of fulfilment systems, stock control, and warehouse operations
  • Hands-on, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
