E-Commerce Merchandiser
Up to £50,000 + benefits
Remote (UK based)
We\’ve partnered with the exciting menswear clothing brand, Built Different, to find a Merchandiser who can own product presentation, launches, and stock management to help scale the brand further.
Company Overview
At Built Different, we are driven by a singular mission: to empower plus-size men with high-quality clothing that celebrates their unique style and physique.
Our journey began when Mark, our CEO, recognized a glaring gap in the market for fashionable and comfortable clothing designed specifically for larger men.
In many retail outlets, plus-size men often struggle to find clothing that fits well and makes them feel confident. Frustrated by the lack of options available, Mark decided to take matters into his own hands. He envisioned a brand that not only offered stylish apparel but also embraced the diverse shapes and sizes of men.
Our commitment to inclusivity and quality craftsmanship is at the heart of everything we do. From our meticulously designed garments to our customer-centric approach, every aspect of Built Different reflects our dedication to serving the needs of our community.
We’re scaling rapidly (we’ve secured a spot on the FEBE growth list) and are committed to continuing to innovate, evolve, and expand our offerings to ensure that every man can embrace his unique identity with pride. At Built Different, we\’re not just selling clothing – we\’re empowering a community.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a Merchandiser who can take ownership of how our products show up across the site and campaigns — from bundles to launches to inventory accuracy. You’ll be at the heart of our product engine, ensuring every drop, collection, and campaign feels fresh, drives sales, and gives customers more reasons to come back.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll move quickly across product set-up, site optimization, and cross-team coordination to make sure our merchandising is as sharp and dynamic as our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create & Launch Packs of the Week: Curate weekly bundles to drive urgency, improve AOV, and keep the store experience fresh.
- Collection Management: Update and optimize collection pages based on best sellers, seasonality, and customer demand.
- Product Launches: Coordinate launch readiness — uploading new products, crafting descriptions, and ensuring visuals/collections are on point.
- Inventory Management: Track and update Shopify inventory across US and UK warehouses to keep stock levels accurate and customer experience seamless.
- Campaign Support: Partner with marketing to feature products effectively in email, SMS, and site updates.
- Merchandising Strategy: Spot trends in data and feed insights into how we present, bundle, and push products.
- Conversion Optimization: Ensure products are displayed in ways that maximize add-to-cart and purchase behavior.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, creative, and ops to keep product storytelling sharp and consistent.
Requirements:
- Have 3+ years’ experience in merchandising, eCommerce, or site management (ideally with a DTC/fashion brand).
- Are fluent in Shopify and comfortable managing product, collections, and inventory.
- Understand how merchandising impacts growth — from boosting AOV to reducing stockouts.
- Have a sharp eye for product presentation and storytelling.
- Enjoy a fast-paced, scale-up environment where priorities shift and execution speed matters.
- Are both data-driven and creative in how you approach merchandising decisions.
Tools We Use:
Shopify, Klaviyo, Notion, Slack, GA4
Benefits:
- Rewarding salary
- Opportunity to shape the merchandising function of a fast-growing, innovative clothing brand for larger-sized men.
- Collaborative, founder-led team with a passion for creativity and customer experience.
- A culture that champions accountability, innovation, and growth.
