About the AI Strike Team
The AI Strike Team exists to reimagine how software is built at hx. This team is redefining the software development lifecycle using AI-native practices, enabling dramatic improvements in both engineering velocity and product quality. Their work spans the entire hx platform, collaborating closely with product, platform, and infrastructure teams to ship meaningful customer value quickly and responsibly.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and deliver complex product epics at 3–5x the velocity of baseline engineering teams, ensuring high-quality functionality reaches customers faster without compromising system integrity.
- Architect AI-assisted guardrails across the SDLC, including autonomous testing pipelines, AI-driven security reviews, and automated code quality agents.
- Use AI tools to rapidly map dependencies and navigate unfamiliar parts of the hx codebase.
- Build and evolve AI-native development workflows, integrating best-in-class tooling across coding, testing, CI/CD, and deployment environments.
- Translate successful strike team practices into documented patterns, reusable tooling, and “paved road” workflows.
- Partner with engineers and technical leaders to share knowledge, mentor teams, and accelerate adoption of AI-native engineering practices.
What you’ll need to have done
- Built or significantly evolved AI-assisted engineering workflows that measurably accelerated delivery speed while maintaining production reliability.
- Delivered complex product features or systems across unfamiliar codebases.
- Architected scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD systems.

- Evaluated and integrated modern AI development tooling.
- Led or influenced engineering teams to adopt new technical practices.
