About hyperexponential (hx): At hyperexponential, we're building the AI-powered platform that enables the world's most critical decisions in a $7 trillion industry - which risks to take, and how to price them. These are the decisions that shape real-world outcomes: whether rockets successfully launch into space, autonomous vehicles make it to market, or communities recover after major storms.

Until now, insurance has been making billion-dollar decisions using outdated tools. We're changing that. Our platform brings together data, AI, and human expertise to give insurers the fastest path from submission to decision - helping them move faster, act smarter, and take on more risk with confidence.

Backed by a16z, Highland Europe, and Battery Ventures, we're scaling globally - already trusted by nearly 50 of the world's largest insurers, with zero churn and billions in premiums flowing through hx.

What began as a single product in one market has rapidly evolved into a multi-product, multi-territory platform powering every stage of pricing and underwriting. AI is at the core of what we do - from building the world's first domain‐specific AI peer programmer for insurance to shaping agentic workflows that reinvent how this industry operates.

What makes hx different is the people who build it. Here, impact isn't tied to title or tenure; it's defined by the challenges you take on and the discipline you bring. Surrounded by peers who stretch you, you'll do the best, hardest work of your life in a company engineered to endure.

About the team: Marketing at hx operates at the intersection of demand generation, systems thinking, and constrained markets. We build authority and demand in a highly technical, niche space where every account matters. This isn't template‐driven volume work - it's deep, strategic B2B marketing crafted for a known universe of accounts, and we stay involved from first engagement through to customer success.

As Product Marketing Manager for our actuarial AI products, you'll sit at the heart of how hx becomes the obvious choice for actuaries who want to work faster, smarter, and with greater impact. You'll be the connective tissue between Product, Revenue, and the AI team - turning user insight into sharp positioning, useful sales assets, and narratives that stand up to scrutiny.

Your work will span two distinct challenges: deepening engagement and value realisation for our mature core product, whilst driving launch readiness, early adoption, and strong feedback loops for our early‐stage AI tooling.

The team experiments constantly, uses AI to focus on strategy over busy work, and operates with a high bar for quality and pace. You'll be joining a group that takes work seriously but not themselves, where compressed learning is the norm and the most future‐ready in your craft is the standard.

What you'll be doing:

  • Drive deeper engagement with our core actuary‐focused product by identifying and communicating priority use cases, refining value propositions, and creating messaging that strengthens adoption of key capabilities amongst existing users.
  • Own go‐to‐market execution for major releases of our AI tooling for actuarial pricing model development, delivering positioning, launch materials, enablement assets, and user communications that drive understanding, usage, and actionable product feedback.
  • Accelerate early adoption of new AI capabilities by creating clear messaging, onboarding support, and launch assets that help target users get to first value quickly - evidenced by active usage and participation in testing.
  • Reduce friction in active sales opportunities by maintaining and refreshing external‐facing assets, competitive battlecards, and core enablement materials that give revenue teams what they need to explain product value clearly and handle objections with confidence.
  • Build hx's position in actuarial AI by developing a clear external point of view, differentiated messaging, and up‐to‐date competitor understanding that works consistently across website copy, enablement, and customer conversations.
  • Establish strong feedback loops between users, Product, Revenue, and the AI team so that insight from launches, testing, and field conversations directly informs messaging, prioritisation, and product direction.

What you'll need to have done:

  • Led product marketing in a B2B SaaS environment where you've driven both adoption for existing products and launch readiness for new capabilities, demonstrating commercial judgement and the ability to balance multiple GTM motions simultaneously.
  • Increased engagement or adoption for a mature product by using user insight to sharpen messaging, enablement, or product communications - with measurable improvements in usage, understanding, or qualitative feedback from users and revenue teams.
  • Supported early‐stage product launches where success was measured by learning and adoption rather than immediate revenue, showing comfort working with ambiguity and using PMM to drive usage and feedback loops.
  • Turned complex technical capabilities into compelling, credible messaging for a specialist audience - demonstrating a clear process for gathering insight, testing language, and avoiding generic claims that don't resonate.
  • Worked effectively across Product, Engineering, Revenue, and other cross‐functional teams to build alignment and move work forward, earning trust quickly and influencing decisions without relying on formal authority.
  • Shipped high‐quality launches, assets, and enablement materials on time whilst managing multiple workstreams, making sensible trade‐offs, and maintaining a high bar for quality and pace.

You're unlikely to thrive here if:

  • You expect full product maturity, clear roadmaps, and well‐defined processes before taking action - hx moves fast and requires comfort operating in ambiguity where products, priorities, and messaging are still evolving.
  • You focus primarily on flashy launch work or brand campaigns rather than the detail‐oriented, outcomes‐driven work of deepening adoption, engagement, and user understanding.
  • You struggle to prioritise or make trade‐offs without perfect information, waiting for others to decide rather than using judgment to move work forward with the context available.
  • If reading our Culture Document leaves you feeling neutral rather than energised, hx may not be the place where you'll do your best work. We're building something that asks for commitment and conviction, and we want you to feel excited by the opportunity to grow with us.
