We are currently looking for a Research/Senior Scientist - Antibody Biophysics to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in the Berkshire area. As the Research/Senior Scientist - Antibody Biophysics, you will be responsible for advancing digital antibody design and impacting the delivery of future medicines. This is an initial 12 month contract, with likely opportunities for extension within the business.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze biophysical data for panels of antibodies.
- Assess molecule quality (purity) prior to assessment.
- Work with computational colleagues to capture data in a format suitable for digital interrogation.
- Report and disseminate data to wet‑lab and computational colleagues.
Role Requirements:
- Relevant degree in a related field.
- Proven industry experience in antibody or protein biophysical characterisation.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with techniques for the assessment of affinity, thermal stability, self‑interaction, and non‑specific binding.
