We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company in the Hertfordshire area.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and continual development of equipment within the Engineering Department, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Your duties as the Maintenance Engineer will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: 1.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will undertake maintenance, calibration, repair, and continual development of production and utility equipment, ensuring compliance with all relevant guidelines and practices. 2.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will provide technical support and effective problem-solving to the manufacturing team, ensuring minimal disruption to production activities. 3.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will maintain and utilise regulatory and non-regulatory documentation, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and in a timely manner. 4.

As the Maintenance Engineer, you will drive continuous improvement in engineering processes and procedures through innovation, teamwork, and adherence to safe working practices.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS: To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Maintenance Engineer, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: 1.

Relevant degree in an engineering discipline or a formal qualification in at least one other engineering discipline. 2.

Proven industry experience in performing engineering and maintenance activities to a high standard on pharmaceutical utilities and associated equipment. 3.

A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP standards, Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, and the ability to work under pressure in complex conditions.
