Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW

A leading company in the scientific industry based in the Cambridge area is seeking a Scientist to join their dynamic team. This role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge projects . As a Scientist, you will have the opportunity to independently lead and manage scientific projects, providing expert technical advice and ensuring the highest standards of data generation and analysis.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

1. Independently lead, design, plan, and manage your own studies to achieve objectives.

2. Represent the company at project team meetings and provide expert technical advice to stakeholders.

3. Execute, analyse, and report data to the standards expected by the company and its stakeholders.

4. Perform routine duties in the laboratory to ensure timely and accurate data generation.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Relevant master or PHD in a scientific discipline.

2. Proven industry experience in pharmaceutical product development or a scientific setting. Working knowledge in chromatographic techniques such as SEC, RP-HPLC and CEX

3. A working knowledge and practical experience with formulation of proteins and small molecules, and/or characterisation.
