We are currently looking for a Process Development Scientist to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in Oxfordshire. As the Process Development Scientist, you will be responsible for driving innovation and efficiency in the manufacturing process of solid dose delivery of vaccines and medicines.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Carry out laboratory-based experimentation to support the establishment of a robust, efficient, and scalable manufacturing process.
  • Plan, execute, record, and report your scientific work accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform analysis and interpretation of data, and generate protocols, technical, and status reports.
  • Support batch manufacturing activities in the laboratory for assigned internal and external projects.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Relevant degree in Chemistry, Materials science or Pharmaceutical Engineering.
  • Proven industry experience in the formulation and process development of solid dosage forms.
  • A working knowledge and practical experience with GMP and manufacturing processes such as powder blending and tableting.
