We are currently looking for a Device Industrialisation Engineer to join a leading Pharmaceutical company based in Cambridgeshire. As a Device Industrialisation Engineer, you will be instrumental in contributing to medical device and combination product projects. This is an initial 12 month contract and is a hybrid position (50% onsite).
Responsibilities
- Deliver key industrialisation activities on medical device and combination product projects within complex generics and biosimilar workstreams.
- Provide expertise and input into device scale-up activities, including DFM, DFA, precision component moulding, and assembly.
- Manage tech/design transfer activities for medical/pharma products moving from R&D into production.
- Input into and write manufacturing-related sections of DHF documentation, manage suppliers, and oversee capital equipment acquisition.
Role Requirements
- Relevant degree in mechanical, chemical, or process engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, life sciences, or other relevant subjects.
- Extensive industry experience in the development of medical devices and/or combination products within a pharmaceutical, medical devices, and/or combination products setting.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with process development tools, industry-accepted risk management, and validation methods.
