As the Head of R&D You will be responsible for managing complex technical projects from concept through to delivery while building and leading high-performing teams.
Lead and oversee multiple technical and product development programmes, ensuring delivery against scope, timelines, and milestones.
Translate high-level business and R&D objectives into clear, structured project plans, dependencies, and resource requirements.
Collaborate closely with senior leadership to align scientific strategies with commercial and regulatory goals.
Build, manage, and mentor cross-functional R&D teams, fostering accountability and high performance.
As the Head of R&D, you will support and contribute to technical decision-making, stage-gate processes, and project documentation.
Proven experience in managing technical projects within a synthetic chemistry / material chemistry environment for the commercialisation of material applications.
Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex scientific topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
