We are supporting a leading Pharmaceutical company who are seeking a Production Technician to join their team in the Oxford area. As the Production Technician, you will be at the forefront of producing and ensuring the quality of radiopharmaceutical products that make a significant impact on patient care worldwide.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Participate in the preparation and review of documentation for the build, installation, and commissioning of the PET Radiopharmacy, including equipment validation and production processes.
- Manufacture PET radiopharmaceuticals using hot cells and isolators, including aseptic dispensing and sanitisation of aseptic suite facilities.
- Carry out Quality Control procedures, analysing the radionuclide and radiochemical purity of radiopharmaceuticals using standard analysis packages.
- Maintain the facility to GMP standards, including documentation, equipment maintenance, environmental monitoring, and stock control.
Role Requirements
- Relevant degree in Chemistry or related science field.
- Proven industry experience in aseptic or GMP Production.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with pharmaceutical chemistry and good manufacturing practice.
