Overview
In this role you drive growth by selling materials characterisation and testing solutions across the UK. You will engage cross-functionally with sales, product teams, and clients to tailor demonstrations and proposals. You’ll operate in a dynamic team, expanding the company’s reach into manufacturing, automotive, and engineering sectors while staying ahead of market trends. This is a hands-on, technically grounded sales role with significant impact on growth and customer success.

Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new UK business opportunities in testing and materials characterisation
- Build and maintain relationships with potential clients, assessing technical needs and presenting suitable solutions
- Provide product demonstrations and technical support to clients and internal teams
- Collaborate with the sales and product specialist team to align solutions with customer requirements
- continually enhance industry and product knowledge to stay ahead of market trends
Key requirements
- Degree or higher in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or Analytical Chemistry
- Proven technical sales experience in analytical or testing equipment
- Strong network within UK manufacturing, automotive, or engineering sectors
- Willingness to travel extensively across the UK
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong relationship-building abilities
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Knowledge of testing machines and materials characterisation equipment
- Ability to conduct product demonstrations and technical explanations
- Understanding of analytical equipment and related industries
