ROLE OVERVIEW
A leading company in the analytical instrumentation industry is seeking a dedicated Field Service Engineer to join their team and support across North West, England. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be at the forefront of ensuring customer satisfaction by providing top-tier service and support for a range of equipment, including HPLC, GC, MS, and Gas Generators.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Your duties as the Field Service Engineer will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:
1. Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance at customer sites.
2. Work with the Service Coordinator to ensure effective time planning and order of spare parts.
3. Conduct breakdown repair and resolution at customer sites.
4. Complete accurate Service Reports and submit them in a timely manner.
ROLE REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Field Service Engineer we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:
1. Relevant degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Electronics, Engineering.
2. Proven industry experience in the operation, service, and repair of analytical instrumentation.
3. A working knowledge and practical experience with Chromatography operating and data capture systems such as Chemstation, Clarity, OpenLab, and Empower.
