We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join a leading pharmaceutical company based in the Hertfordshire area. As the Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of planned engineering maintenances and shutdowns, with a particular focus on utilities such as steam, water systems, and electricity.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and manage detailed plans for engineering maintenances and shutdowns, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering team to review job scopes and ensure all necessary resources and tools are available.
- Implement and manage the new Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS), ideally Hexagon, to streamline maintenance processes.
- Ensure compliance with Construction Design Management (CDM) regulations and maintain a strong focus on the "dirty" side of the engineering business.
Role Requirements
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Maintenance, or a related field.
- Proven industry experience in engineering or maintenance planning, particularly within the utilities sector.
- A working knowledge and practical experience with CMMS implementation, ideally Hexagon or MainSaver.
